What makes your invitations & stationery different from the traditional invitation catalogues?

A wedding invitation needs to reflect more than the date and time. Your guests should look at your invitation and recognize your personality, style and the feeling of your upcoming wedding as well as your love for each other. Even the wedding verse should be special!

I will create your original invitations by offering a wide selection of choices in paper, embellishments, sizes & styles, wording and finishes. You will be given a variety of designs sure to suit your style & taste. These high quality invitations come in a wide range of styles & colours and include the popular pocket-fold invitations and Envelopment style. If you prefer the traditional invitation style, there are many sizes to choose from to reflect your taste: customary 5x7, elegant 4x9 or trendy 6x6.

The choice of paper & embellishments make the invitation your own. Custom designed invitations ensure that your guests will not disregard the invitation, but will treasure the invitation as a keepsake.

What is included in the invitation package?

An invitation package includes the invitation, reply card, reception card and envelopes. Full assembly of the invitation is completed prior to delivery so all you need to do is address and mail your invitations to your guests. There are no minimum orders so you only pay for as many invitations as you require (always order a handful of extras for special keepsakes!)

What is the price range of Inviting Elegance Invitations?

Invitation packages begin at $4.00 for panel invitations and $8.00 for pocket invitations. However each couple is treated in a unique manner and that allows you to select your favourite blend of paper, embellishments and style; therefore, there are no standard prices. If your budget does not allow for a more expensive package, I can create a similar invitation using less paper or ribbon, etc. That is the beauty of custom work and Inviting Elegance meets your needs.

What is wedding stationery?

Over the years, wedding stationery has become a major part of the budget. All weddings include some form of stationery; programs, place cards, favour tags and thank you notes. Lately stationery has expanded to include: Save-the-Date cards, table numbers, seating charts, menu cards and photo guest books.

These items elegantly add to the overall ambiance of the event without straining your budget. The gracious tone of your invitation should carry through to the reception. Imagine your tables are beautifully set with your well planned out centerpieces and favours but there is the standard black/white table number set right in the center detracting from the decor. By choosing a few key pieces your wedding stationery will carry through the elegant theme you desire and your guests will be impressed.

I will provide you with classic thank you cards that, like your invitation, you design. Your friends and family will appreciate the significance of your gratitude and have a keepsake of your wedding day! After all the time and energy you’ve spent on the wedding pictures, you should include photos from your wedding as part of the thank you card. These unique cards are not expensive; the average cost is $2.00 - $4.00 each and the reactions from your friends and family is wonderful!

When can we meet to discuss our invitations?

It is important for us to meet with enough time for design and assembly to take place and allowing yourself enough time to mail the invitations 6-8 weeks prior to the wedding day. Four months ahead of the wedding day is ideal.

Keep in mind though, that rush orders can happen! I once met a bride-to-be and within two weeks from the first meeting, handed over 100 invitations for a wedding date just 3 months away!

At the initial meeting, you will look through my collection of designs, paper samples and wedding verse book. We will work together to create your own, unique invitation. The second meeting will occur a week or so later with completed proof for your approval. When everything is perfect, a contract is signed and a 50% deposit is required. At this time, a final proof of the invitation is agreed upon and final delivery dates are set.

Do you only offer wedding invitations?

I offer other products in a traditional greeting card line, such as anniversary and party invitations, birth announcements, Christmas cards and corporate events.
